Ned Kelly Awards 2010 Shortlist

CRIME WRITERS ASSOCIATION OF AUSTRALIA has announced the Short List for the 15th Ned Kelly Awards, honoring the past year’s best Australian crime writing. The Awards will be presented on September 3 at the Melbourne Writers' Festival.

Good to see Robotham's BLEED FOR ME on the list. I really enjoyed that. I wonder why Peter Temple's TRUTH didn't make it through from the longlist? Was it withdrawn? Otherwise it seems a massive oversight...

Temple was a major find a while back and Robotham most recently. Really enjoy both. Thanks for posting these lists! I have gotten several new favorites.

Temple asked that TRUTH not be considered because he has won five Neds and wanted 'to create some small space' for others.
