Wow. I read a LOT of mysteries, but I haven't read a single one of these.

Marlyn, they're not out yet, but they're great to look forward to, especially the Connelly...

Wow, what a list! I can't wait for reviews and comments here and about the blogosphere.

By the way, did you write a letter to the Times about parenting recently? Whoever did wrote a terrific letter I wanted to cut out and keep about what it's all about, the heart of what parenting should be...a rational and loving regard for one's children and wish for their happiness and ability to take care of themselves, support for and encouragement of autonomy.

I didn't write the letter to the Times. Very topical right now, as it should be, though.

Goody! Some real treats in store. IJ Parker is a favorite with her nods to Judge Dee. Although I am not a fan of the suprenatural, Cotterill does it well and his Laos is fascinating. Cumming is a new find for me. Good story-telling. The famous, Connelly and Mankell, of course. With this bunch as hints of the remaining quality, I'm excited!
