Still no info on when it will reach the TV screen--or the U.S.!

I await with trepidation. the last adaptation made child abuse, which is not mentioned in the novel, a central theme. The novel doesn't need improving so I hope the producers avoid the temptation to include modern day sensibilities and just do the novel as is. It needs no help.

leave as is, it is such a wonderful book and story,
The epistolary mystery! I too hope they don't mess with it even if they shorten it. Telling the story the way it was written builds the case the right way.
