MacDonald fan; I read and...I, too, was/am a John D. MacDonald fan; I read and admired everything he wrote...except CONDOMINIUM. I mean, I read it, but I didn't like it. He was on a soap box for this one--a crusade, a diatribe, a rant, a whatever. It was not MacDonald-entertaining and held little of value to anyone who did not live in Florida. I continue to re-read the Travis McGee books, and when I'm feeling low, I go back to THE GIRL, THE GOLD, and EVERYTHING. But CONDOMINIIUM?
