Alex Barclay wins Irish Crime Fiction Book of the Year

Alex Barclay won the the inaugural Ireland AM Irish Crime Fiction Book of the Year prize for Blood Runs Cold. The Irish Times described this inaugural award as "an extremely competitive category." This, Barclay's third novel, won over Tana French (The Likeness), Brian McGilloway (Gallows Lane) and Arlene Hunt (Undertow).
