Kenneth Branagh: The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society

Variety reported that Fox 2000 "is circling" Kenneth Branagh to direct The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, based on the novel by Annie Barrows and Mary Ann Shaffer.

The film, which is being produced by Paula Mazur and Mitchell Kaplan from a script by Dan Roos, is expected to begin production in the spring.

    I loved the book, so I'll look forward to the movie. Maybe they'll capture the spirit of the folks on that island.

    finally read this last week. i really enjoyed it!! should be interesting to see who they pick. hopefully english actors. american actors would be just wrong.
