Art from Cast-Off Books

Yesterday, I linked to the article about the Anthopologie debacle: Recycled or 'valued' books for $2, 175 that you can put together yourself for $250. Sharon Fifer,  author of the Jane Wheel series (including Killer Stuff), commented on Jim Rosenau's art from cast-off books in which he "celebrates titles and typeface using only books that were cast adrift and rescued by him." Sharon, herself, has three of his pieces. Jim lives in Berkeley, and I've experienced his work during OpenStudios.  Here's a great piece for the Mystery Fan.
