ReplyDeleteEd's Dead, by Russell D. McLean - The orderly life of a Glaswegian bookstore clerk goes desperately off the rails when she inadvertently murders her boyfriend. And he leaves behind an enormous stash of money and an enormous stash. The complications are only beginning. This book's a lot of fun!

A very entertaining book I found at a library book sale (never been checked out!) was "Dewey Decimated" by Charles Goodrum. I think it was published in the '70s.
