MOONLIGHTING coming to Hulu!

At long last the TV detective series Moonlighting, starring Bruce Willis and Cybill Shepherd, is coming to Hulu. 67 Episodes!!! Wowza. This was one of my favorite detective shows in the 1980s. The banter and interaction between these two stars was outstanding, as was the music and the unique cinematic approach to TV.

Moonlighting will stream starting on October 10. The show’s original description read: “When former fashion model Maddie Hayes goes broke and finds that one of her few remaining assets is ownership of the Blue Moon Detective Agency, she’s tempted to liquidate it until she meets the quirky employees and gets involved in their even quirkier cases.”

During its five-seasons, Moonlighting was nominated for 41 Emmys. It launched Bruce Willis's career. His chemistry and snappy banter with Cybill Shepherd kept audiences invested. Wild swings include an episode written entirely in iambic pentameter and another that features a nine-minute musical dream sequence set to Billy Joel.

The episodes have been remastered in HD. Moonlighting aired from 1985 to 1989 on ABC.
