It's been quite a month for Philip Kerr, who on 3 September won the world's most lucrative prize in crime fiction, the RBA International Prize for Crime Writing (€125,000) for IF THE DEAD RISE NOT (which is now on the CWA shortlist as well).
Not a bad consolation prize if he misses out on the CWA Award, methinks...
