PATRICIA ELMORE: R.I.P.

I just learned that Pat Elmore, children's mystery author, passed away a few weeks ago. I hadn't seen Pat in several years, but in the past I saw her at MWA meetings and local conventions, and we sometimes met for lunch. Pat Elmore was a lovely woman, and I'm glad I knew her.

Patricia Elmore was the author of Susannah and the Blue House Mystery; Susan and the Purple Mongoose Mystery; and Susannah and the Poison Green Halloween. She was nominated for an Edgar for Susannah and the Purple Mongoose Mystery in 1993.
