Although Valentine's Day is all about love, we know that love and hate are sometimes very close...so this holiday is perfect for mystery crime fiction. Here's my updated Valentine's Day Crime Fiction list. Be sure and check out my other blog, DyingforChocolate, for Valentine's Day Chocolate Reviews, Recipes, and Vintage Chocolate Ads.
February 14, Valentine's Day, is also International Book Giving Day, so books are the perfect Valentine's Day gift. Bundle some of the following Valentine's Day Mysteries with a box of chocolate truffles, tie it all up in a red ribbon, and you're good to go!

This MUST be what heaven is like. A quaint lane lined with bookstores for each holiday; and inside a cozy lounge chair, a warm drink and some chocolates reserved for oneself. I'll see you all in the mystery section (smile.) Thank you so much, Janet.
Great list, Janet!
I recently came across a paperback, 14 VICIOUS VALENTINES that's a mix of mystery/crime and horror. Edited by Rosalind and Martin Greenberg and Charles Waugh and published in 1988. .Authors include Bill Crider (the reason I bought it), Ed Hoch and others.
It has one of those "classy" crazy covers with a box of chocolates with an icepick through it and two scary eyes peeping out from the inside. Oh, and a puddle of blood. LOL.
Have a good Valentine's Day!
