Sad news. J. Robert Janes, Canadian mystery author of the Chief Inspector Jean-Louis St-Cy of France's Sûreté and Detektiv Inspektor Hermann Kohler of the Nazi Gestapo, died yesteray at his home in southern Ontario. He was 86 years old.Read J. Kingston Pierce's tribute on The Rap Sheet.
