Outstanding! Thank you for a fun list.
S. S. Raferty's short story "The Pennsylvania Thimblerig" takes place around the Fourth in 1776. And Edward D. Hoch has an entire series about Alexander Swift (reprinted in the recent "Constant Hearses") which is set during the Revolution and sort of ties into the idea of Independence Day. Hoch's story "The Problem of the Fatal Fireworks" involves an impossible crime around the July holiday.
