NELSON DeMILLE: R.I.P.


Nelson DeMille died of esophageal cancer yesterday at the age of 81. Nelson DeMille was an amazing and prolific writer, raconteur, major supporter of other writers, and a genuine good guy. His first major novel was By the Rivers of Babylon, published in 1978. He was chosen as ThrillerMaster in 2015 by the International Thriller Writers. He also wrote under the pen names Jack Cannon, Kurt Ladner, Ellen Kay, and Brad Matthews.

Nelson DeMille also contributed short stories to anthologies, and book reviews and articles to magazines and newspapers.

My heart and sympathy go out to his friends and family. He will be missed.
