By now you've probably heard the sad news that Kate's Mystery Books in Cambridge is closing. Another independent mystery bookstore bites the dust. Kate Mattes opened Kate's Mystery Books in 1983. Last year she won the Raven Award from MWA "for outstanding achievement in the mystery field outside the realm of creative writing."J.Kingston Pierce has more of the story at The Rap Sheet.
