John Malcolm: R.I.P.
I missed this post in Martin Edwards's blog in November. John Malcolm was the pen name of mystery author John Malcolm Andrews. I met him several times in England at various CWA meetings and other mystery conferences. I always enjoyed chatting with him about antiques. His series character Tim Simpson was an art expert. John wrote several Tim Simpson books. He also wrote two non-series novels, as well as non-fiction books about anitiques, as well as several short stories. He was chair of CWA from 1994-1995.
