LUPIN: PART 3: October 5 on Netflix

The long wait is over. Lupin, Part 3 arrives on Netflix October 5.  

From Netflix:

France’s most wanted gentleman thief is on the run, but he’s heading back to Paris when Lupin returns for Part 3 on Oct. 5. In the trailer for the new volume, we see Assane Diop (Sy) planning his most intense — and probably most insane — heist yet. The master of disguise is not afraid of danger, and this stunt is a 12 out of 10 on the danger scale. 

When we last saw Assane, he was on the run from the police. While he may have successfully revealed a major insurance fraud perpetrated by mega-rich entrepreneur Hubert Pellegrini (Hervé Pierre) — the man responsible for framing his father and sending him to prison years ago — that wasn’t before Hubert framed him for a murder. Now the most wanted man in France, Assane decides it’s better for his son, Raoul (Etan Simon) and ex, Claire (Ludivine Sagnier), if he falls off the radar for a bit. 

But while in hiding, Assane can’t stand  the suffering his family must endure because of him, so he returns to Paris to offer them a crazy proposal: leave France and start a new life elsewhere. But the ghosts of the past are never far away, and an unexpected return will turn his plans upside down.

Lupin: Part 3 will premiere on October 5, 2023. Yay! I love this French TV series.

In the cliffhanger finale of Lupin: Part 2, Gentleman Thief Assane (Omar Sy) finally got revenge on Hubert Pellegrini (Hervé Pierre). Where does Assane go from there? Season 3 of the hit French thriller answers that question.

CANDICE RENOIR NEWS: Seasons 3 & 4

 I think the French TV series Candice Renoir is terrific. It features Candice Renoir (Cecile Bois), a French policewoman and single mother of four. You can watch the first two seasons on AcornTV, and now after a long wait and multi launch dates, AcornTV has premier dates for Season (February 28) and Season 4 (March 28). Can't wait.

CANDICE RENOIR, SEASON 3 premieres on AcornTV

Candice Renoir, Season 3 on Acorn TV. I really like this show, and I'm glad to see that AcornTV is finally airing another season of this great French TV production. There are 9 seasons, so hopefully we'll see more in the near future.  Season 3 premieres December 27.

After 10 years abroad, Candice Renoir is back in France and back on the case as a police commandant, using her skills honed as a divorced mom to solve complex cases. You can watch Seasons 1 and 2 now on AcornTV.  If you haven't seen it, be sure and add it to your queue/

CANDICE RENOIR: Series 2 coming to Acorn June 28

I've been watching and enjoying Candice Renoir, a French TV police series, on AcornTV  Series 1 is  available now and Series 2 will drop on June 28. There are 8 seasons. Hope we get them all.

Candice Renoir had put her career on standby for 10 years. When she returns from Singapore to resume service in a port town in the south of France, she feels a bit “rusty”. Despite the obvious defiance of her unit and a cynical superior who doesn’t make her job any easier, she is determined to turn her so-called weaknesses into strengths, solving the most complex cases with her common sense, her acute observation and her practical nature seasoned by a busy daily routine. Only Candice can catch a killer because she knows the chemical composition of a window-cleaning product or determine the hour of a murder from the cooking-time of kebabs… Candice is only naive on the outside, and nobody can resist her!
