If you're a reviewer, critic or mystery bookstore and you have a Best of 2009 Mysteries List and would like to add to this summary, post a comment or email me.

Just as a heads up BSC Review will have our best mystery/crime picks posted the Monday after Christmas. They are being compiled now. Keith Rawson, Nerd of Noir and myself will all have lists.

I'll keep you posted.

Great lists, Janet! Thanks for including me. It's quite an honor to be in that company. I'm going to link to this for Sunday Tidbits tomorrow.

Wonderful lists - I was about to complain about "Black Water Rising" being on so few lists (and Rennie Airth on none? is that possible), when I realized the joy of these lists is the variety of books they suggest.

Thank you for posting - and happy holidays!

There are so many good books on these lists, many of which I read and agree about their places on the top books of 2009.

Am so glad to see that someone listed, "Bad Things Happen," by Harry Dolan. It's so intelligently crafted and witty.

Also, I liked, "New Tricks," by David Rosenfelt.
