PERRY MASON: HBO TV series cancelled

Deadline reported today that the Perry Mason series airing on HBO has been cancelled. There are 2 seasons available, so you can watch those..but there will be no more.

HBO opted not to renew the prequel to the classic series, starring Matthew Rhys and executive produced by Team Downey’s Robert Downey Jr. and Susan Downey, for a third season. The news comes a month and a half after the Season 2 finale debuted April 24.

I have read all of Stuart Woods Stone Barrington's books; as a matter of fact, I am rereading them now. Smolder just came out 6/4/2024 and I forgot. I have now ordered it (6/17/2024) and can't wait to get started. However, I noticed another author's name on the book cover on Amazon, Brett Battles. I paused, went back and notice his name on a couple other books. How I miss it on the others I do not know, except that I absolutely love, love, love this series. I had noticed over the last 4 to 5 books the writing had seems to get better and better. The story lines, better, the character interactions better, funnier, the plots more exciting. Looking up why Mr. Battles was writing with Stuart Woods was a shock when I read Mr. Woods passed 2 years ago. This shows how deep my head has been in his books, I did not even know. I am so sorry to his family, what a great writer Mr. Woods was and to Mr. Battles you did an awesome job with Distant Thunder and Near Miss. I'm looking forward to Smolder. Please, continue to do great writings for Mr. Woods and his family.
