Are you kidding me? Parnell Hall is just so damn clever and fun and entertaining. Each bit he writes or sings or picks his guitar is better than the last. I hope he is still doing this when he is 100!
Saw "The No. One Ladies Detective Agency" last week. I think it was a British TV production. It was very well done. Even better than the book. And marvelous photography of Africa Botswana. The woman who played mma Precious - Jill Scott - was perfect in the role.

I love Parnell Hall's Stanley Hastings books. Funny and clever. I saw him do one of his songs at the Bouchercon in Las Vegas years ago. So fun.
