For Comfort: Thumb Thing

The Thumb Thing is a hard plastic ring with winglike shapes on each side that, when worn around the thumb while reading, makes holding a book more comfortable. The design of the ring allows readers to more comfortably hold an open book one-handed (making it possible to, say, hold an "L" train handle or prop your head with your other hand), and its design helps prevent readers from creasing the book spine. For Reading in the Cold: Echo Touch gloves

To keep hands and fingers warm and still have access to touch-screen e-reader devices and apps, we like Echo Touch gloves.
