We have subscribed to Acorn for 4-5 years now and love it. We cut all cable about three years ago. 95% of what we watch on TV is 4 different European stations for shows, mostly mysteries, and a couple of other stations for news. We do have Netflix and Amazon but hardly ever look at those.
