An old-time radio drama, written by Michael Kurland especially for today's audiences, "The Maltese Omelette" is an homage to Dashiell Hammett and Mother Goose, and falls into that popular genre known as "fairy tale noir."

This is one of the most clever radio scripts I've come across and / or seen performed. Cara Black as the Foley Artist was spectacular clomping shoes and slamming doors. Who would believe that a bunch of talented writers could do a great job as actors. A fall back job just in case publishers start to act like publishers.
